Eftihia Kyriacou Trihakis, di famiglia greco-cipriota, è nata a Melbourne (Australia), dove ha conseguito il diploma in canto classico presso il Melba Conservatorium (Melbourne), sotto la guida dell'insegnante Susan Breen Clarke e la laurea BMus con specializzazione in canto lirico presso l'Università Cattolica di Melbourne sotto la guida dell'insegnante Loris Synan.
Vincitrice del Premio Platino del Concorso "Couperin International Music Competition" nel 2023 e vincitrice del 2° premio del concorso, "Medici International Music Competition" nel 2024.
Nel 2007 si trasferisce in Italia per proseguire i suoi studi col soprano Patrizia Morandini, che la segue tutt’ora.
Nel corso degli anni, Eftihia partecipa a diversi eventi greci e ciprioti: in occasione del Festival Andipodes, canta al Melba Hall di Melbourne e si esibisce durante la kermesse per Miss Cyprus 2003. In seguito, debutta nel ruolo di domestica nell’operetta “Ruddigore” di Gilbert and Sullivan al Phoenix Theatre di Melbourne. Nello stesso anno canta in un concerto di gala al Robert Blackwood Hall di Melbourne e si esibisce in estratti di opere come “Lucia di Lammermoor” (Lucia) di Donizetti, “L’Incoronazione di Poppea” (Poppea) di Monteverdi e “Il Fantasma dell’Opera” (Christine) di Andrew Lloyd Webber, nella sala dei concerti dell’Università Cattolica di Melbourne, sotto la direzione del maestro Roger Heagney.
Nel 2004, in occasione dei giochi olimpici, la sua registrazione dell’inno “Olympiada”, con testi del poeta Loula Papazoi e del compositore George Papanicolaou, viene trasmessa in mondovisione durante la cerimonia d’apertura.
Nello stesso anno collabora in veste di solista col coro greco/spagnolo “Canto Coro”, interpretando, nel famoso Spiegel Tent, brani del repertorio classico spagnolo e greco lo stesso repertorio che la cantante presenterà al Teatro di Canberra in occasione del Festival Multiculturale Nazionale di Canberra. Con il suddetto coro collaborerà - sempre in veste di cantante solista - nella messa “The Mass of Dissent” del compositore Peter Mousaferiadis.
In seguito, la cantante si esibirà in numerosi concerti di beneficenza, tra i quali ricordiamo la sua esibizione in occasione della Festa dell’Indipendenza della comunità cipriota, trasmessa in diretta televisiva.
Nel 2006, Eftihia ottiene una prestigiosa borsa di studio da Ahepa Internazionale che le permetterà di trasferirsi in Italia per perfezionarsi negli studi. Durante il suo soggiorno, avrà l’occasione di esibirsi in vari concerti organizzati da Florence Opera e tenuti nel Tempio Valdese di Firenze, interpretando il ruolo di Mimi nella “Boheme” di Puccini e quello di Prima Conversa nell’opera “Suor Angelica”, sempre di Puccini.
Tornata in Australia, Eftihia si esibisce al Treasury Theatre di Melbourne in un concerto in memoria di cantante, Sophia Vembo.
Nello stesso anno, canta l’Inno nazionale presso la sede del Consolato Greco nel giorno dell’Indipendenza Greca (23 marzo).
Degno di nota è la sua esibizione in un concerto alla presenza del Principe di Grecia Nicolaos e la Principessa Tatiana.
In seguito, in occasione del Capodanno Cinese, viene invitata dalla comunità cinese a Melbourne ad esibirsi sul palco del Besen Theatre insieme all’orchestra di Pechino, in un concerto di gala trasmesso in mondovisione.
Nel 2007 vince il concorso Costas Tzicaderis e, come premio, ha l’onore di esibirsi nella grande sala da concerto BMW Edge di Melbourne.
Nel 2018 la cantante si trasferisce stabilmente in Italia dove riprende i suoi studi, sempre sotto la guida del soprano Patrizia Morandini. Debutta nel ruolo di Suor Angelica nell’opera “Suor Angelica" di Puccini) in occasione del 400° anniversario della morte della regina Caterina. L’evento, organizzato in collaborazione con l'ambasciata Italiana, si è tenuto nel monastero francescano di Kraljeva Sutieska in Bosnia.
Nel corso del 2019 la cantante si esibisce in alcuni concerti a Prato (Teatro Borsi, Sala Mazzoni). Infine, nel 2020, presso il Teatro Moderno di Tavarnuzze (Firenze), debutta nel ruolo di Lola nella celeberrima opera di Mascagni “Cavalleria Rusticana”.
Nel corso della sua carriera, la cantante prende parte a numerose trasmissioni radio-televisive con interviste e esibizioni vocali; tra le altre cose, presta la sua voce per la colonna sonora del film “25.12” di Stella Dimadis, registrando, nella stesso occasione, l’aria “O Mio Babbino Caro” di Puccini.
Nel 2024 Eftihia ha avuto l'onore di esibirsi in concerto con il prestigioso quintetto, l'ensemble "Archi all Opera" del Teatro Carlo Felice (Genova), Italia.
Nel 2025 Eftihia ha eseguito un recital in Australia accompagnata dalla famosa pianista Elyane Laussade. Nello stesso anno partecipa ad un concerto a Firenze, organizzato dal Movimento Arte presso la casa di riposo Bobolino.
My Story
Eftihia Kyriacou Trihakis, of Greek-Cypriot family background, was born in Melbourne (Australia), where she obtained a diploma in classical singing at the Melba Conservatorium (Melbourne), under the tutelage of teacher, Susan Breen Clarke and a BMus degree specializing in opera singing at the Catholic University in Melbourne under the guidance of teacher, Loris Synan.
Awarded platinum prize in the "Couperin International Music Competition" in 2023 and winner of the 2nd prize of the "Medici International Music Competition" in 2024.
In 2007 she moved to Italy to continue her training with the soprano Patrizia Morandini, who
still follows.
Over the years, Eftihia has participated in various Greek and Cypriot events which include: on the occasion of the Andipodes Festival, a recital at the Melba Hall in Melbourne and performances during the Miss Cyprus 2003 pageant. Later, she made her debut in the role of a maid in Gilbert and Sullivan's operetta “Ruddigore” at the Phoenix Theater in Melbourne. In addition, she sang in a gala concert at the Robert Blackwood Hall in Melbourne and performed excerpts from operas such as “Lucia di Lammermoor” (Lucia) by Donizetti, “L’Incoronazione di Poppea” (Poppea) by Monteverdi and “Il Fantasma dell’Opera” (Christine) by Andrew Lloyd Webber, in the concert hall of the Catholic University of Melbourne, under the direction of maestro Roger Heagney.
On the occasion of the Olympic Games
in 2004, her recording of the anthem "Olympiada", with lyrics by the poet Loula Papazoi and composer George Papanicolaou, was broadcast worldwide during the opening ceremony.
During 2004, she also collaborated as a soloist with the Greek/Spanish choir “Canto Coro”, interpreting, in the famous Spiegel Tent, pieces from the classical Spanish and Greek repertoire, the same repertoire that the she later presented at the Canberra Theater on the occasion of the National Multicultural Festival in Canberra. In collaboration with the "Canto Coro" choir, she later performed as soloist in a new work, "The Mass of Dissent" by composer Peter Mousaferiadis.
Subsequently, Eftihia performed in numerous charity concerts, including her performance on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Cypriot community, broadcast live on television.
In 2006, Eftihia obtained a prestigious scholarship from Ahepa International which will allowed her to move to Italy to further her training. During this period, she had the opportunity to perform in various concerts organized by Florence Opera and held in the Tempio Valdese in Florence, portraying the role of Mimi in Puccini's "La Boheme" and that of Prima Conversa in the opera "Suor Angelica", also by Puccini.
Returning to Australia, Eftihia performed at the Treasury Theater in Melbourne in a concert in memory of singer, Sophia Vembo.
That same year, she performed the national anthem at the headquarters of the Greek Consulate on Greek Independence Day (March 23).
Noteworthy is her performance in a concert in the presence of Prince Nicolaos of Greece and Princess Tatiana.
Later, on the occasion of Chinese New Year, she was invited by the Chinese community in Melbourne to perform on stage at the Besen Theater together with the Beijing orchestra, in a gala concert broadcast worldwide.
In 2007 she won the Costas Tzicaderis competition and had the honor of performing in the large BMW Edge concert hall in Melbourne.
In 2018 Eftihia moved permanently to Italy where she resumed her training, under the guidance of soprano Patrizia Morandini. During that year, she made her debut in the role of Suor Angelica from Puccini's opera, "Suor Angelica" on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the death of Queen Caterina. The event, organized in collaboration with the Italian embassy, was held in the Franciscan monastery of Kraljeva Sutieska in Bosnia.
2019 the singer performed in various concerts in Prato (Teatro Borsi, Sala Mazzoni). Finally, in 2020, at the Teatro Moderno di Tavarnuzze (Florence), she made her debut in the role of Lola in Mascagni's famous opera "Cavalleria Rusticana".
During her career, Eftihia has taken part in numerous radio and television broadcasts with interviews and vocal performances; some of which include: her performance in the soundtrack of film "25.12" by Stella Dimadis, with her rendition of the aria "O Mio Babbino Caro" by Puccini.
In 2024 Eftihia had the honor of performing in concert with the prestigious quintet, "Archi all Opera" an ensemble of the Teatro Carlo Felice of (Genoa), Italy.
In 2025 Eftihia gave a recital in Australia accompanied by acclaimed pianist Elyane Laussade. Later that year, she participated in a concert in Florence organized by Art Movement at the Bobolino nursing home.

Η Ευτυχία Κυριάκου Τριχάκη, από ελληνοκυπριακή οικογένεια, γεννήθηκε στη Μελβούρνη (Αυστραλία). Στην ίδια πόλη απέκτησε δίπλωμα κλασικού τραγουδιού στο Ωδείο Melba (Μελβούρνη), υπό την καθοδήγηση της δασκάλας Susan Breen Clarke και πτυχίο Μουσικής (BMus) με ειδίκευση στο τραγούδι της όπερας στο Καθολικό Πανεπιστήμιο της Μελβούρνης υπό την καθοδήγηση της δασκάλας Loris Synan.
Nικήτρια του πλατινένιου βραβείου του «Διεθνούς Μουσικού Διαγωνισμού Couperin» το 2023 και νικήτρια του 2ου βραβείου του διαγωνισμού, «Medici International Music Competition» το 2024.
Το 2007 μετακόμισε στην Ιταλία για να συνεχίσει τις σπουδές της με τη σοπράνο Patrizia Morandini, με την οποία συνεχίζει να συνεργάζεται μέχρι σήμερα.
Για αρκετά χρόνια συμμετείχε σε ελληνικές και κυπριακές εκδηλώσεις. Τραγούδησε στο Φεστιβάλ Andipodes στο Melba Hall της Μελβούρνης και στο φεστιβάλ για τη Μις Κύπρος 2003.
Αργότερα έκανε το ντεμπούτο της ως υπηρέτρια στην οπερέτα «Ruddigore» των Gilbert and Sullivan στο Phoenix Theatre της Μελβούρνης. Την ίδια χρονιά τραγούδησε σε γκαλά συναυλία στο Robert Blackwood Hall στη Μελβούρνη και συμμετείχε σε αποσπάσματα από έργα όπως: - «Lucia di Lammermoor» (Lucia) του Gaetano Donizetti -«L'Incoronazione di Poppea» (Poppea) του Claudio Monteverdi - «The Phantom of the Opera» (Christine) του Andrew Lloyd Webber Οι παραστάσεις πραγματοποιήθηκαν στην αίθουσα συναυλιών του Πανεπιστημίου, υπό τη διεύθυνση του μαέστρου Roger Heagney.
Το 2004 συμμετείχε στην τελετή των Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων, ερμηνεύοντας τον ύμνο «Ολυμπιάδα», σε στίχους της ποιήτριας Λούλας Παπαζώη και μουσική του συνθέτη Γιώργου Παπανικολάου.
Αργότερα το 2004 συνεργάστηκε ως σολίστ με την ελληνική/ισπανική χορωδία «Canto Coro», ερμηνεύοντας έργα από το κλασικό ισπανικό και ελληνικό ρεπερτόριο στο διάσημο Spiegel Tent. Το ίδιο ρεπερτόριο παρουσίασε αργότερα στο Θέατρο της Καμπέρας, στο πλαίσιο του Εθνικού Πολυπολιτισμικού Φεστιβάλ Καμπέρας. Με την ίδια χορωδία συνεργάστηκε επίσης ως σολίστ στο έργο «The Mass of Dissent» του συνθέτη Πέτρου Μουσαφεριάδη.
Στη συνέχεια πραγματοποίησε πολλές φιλανθρωπικές συναυλίες και τραγούδησε για την Κυπριακή Κοινότητα την Ημέρα της Ανεξαρτησίας, σε εκδήλωση που μεταδόθηκε ζωντανά από την τηλεόραση.
Το 2006 έλαβε υποτροφία από την AHEPA Internazionale, η οποία της επέτρεψε να μετακομίσει στην Ιταλία για να βελτιώσει περαιτέρω τις σπουδές της. Εκεί έδωσε πολλές συναυλίες στο Waldensian Temple στη Φλωρεντία, όπου ερμήνευσε τον ρόλο της Mimi στην όπερα La Bohème του Giacomo Puccini και τον ρόλο της prima conversa στην όπερα «Suor Angelica», παραγωγή του Florence Opera.
Επιστρέφοντας στην Αυστραλία, τραγούδησε στο Treasury Theatre στη Μελβούρνη σε συναυλία αφιερωμένη στη μνήμη της τραγουδίστριας Σοφίας Βέμπο.
Την ίδια χρονιά ερμήνευσε τον Εθνικό Ύμνο στο Ελληνικό Προξενείο, κατά τον εορτασμό της Ελληνικής Ανεξαρτησίας στις 23 Μαρτίου.
Αργότερα εμφανίστηκε σε συναυλία παρουσία του Πρίγκιπα της Ελλάδος Νικολάου και της Πριγκίπισσας Τατιάνας.
Στη συνέχεια προσκλήθηκε από την κινεζική κοινότητα της Μελβούρνης να εμφανιστεί σε γκαλά συναυλία με την Ορχήστρα του Πεκίνου, στο Besen Theatre, για τον εορτασμό της Κινεζικής Πρωτοχρονιάς. Η συναυλία μεταδόθηκε από το World Vision.
Το 2018 εγκαταστάθηκε εκ νέου στην Ιταλία και συνέχισε τις σπουδές της με τη σοπράνο Patrizia Morandini.
Ο ρόλος της Suor Angelica από την όπερα «Suor Angelica» παρουσιάστηκε στο Μοναστήρι των Φραγκισκανών στην Kraljeva Sutjeska, σε παράσταση που χρηματοδοτήθηκε από την Ιταλική Πρεσβεία στη Βοσνία, με αφορμή τη συμπλήρωση 400 ετών από τον θάνατο της βασίλισσας Αικατερίνης.
Το 2019 εμφανίστηκε σε συναυλίες στο Πράτο (Teatro Borsi, Casa Previero – Corso Mazzoni).
Το 2020 έκανε το ντεμπούτο της στον ρόλο της Λόλας στην όπερα
«Cavalleria Rusticana» του Pietro Mascagni στο Teatro Moderno Tavarnuzze (Φλωρεντία).
Το 2007 κέρδισε τον Διαγωνισμό Κώστα Τζικατέρη. Ως έπαθλο τραγούδησε στη μεγάλη αίθουσα συναυλιών BMW Edge στη Μελβούρνη.
Κατά τη διάρκεια της καριέρας της έχει συμμετάσχει σε πολλές ραδιοφωνικές και τηλεοπτικές εκπομπές, παραχωρώντας συνεντεύξεις και παρουσιάζοντας φωνητικές ερμηνείες.
Η φωνή της χρησιμοποιήθηκε στην ταινία της Στέλλας Δημάδη «25.12», ερμηνεύοντας το «O Mio Babbino Caro» του Πουτσίνι.
Το 2024 είχε την τιμή να εμφανιστεί σε συναυλία με το έγκριτο κουιντέτο «Archi all’Opera» του Teatro Carlo Felice στη Γένοβα της Ιταλίας.
Το 2025 πραγματοποίησε ρεσιτάλ στην Αυστραλία, συνοδευόμενη από την καταξιωμένη πιανίστα Elyane Laussade.
Αργότερα το ίδιο έτος συμμετείχε σε συναυλία στη Φλωρεντία, την οποία διοργάνωσε το Art Movement στον οίκο ευγηρίας Bobolino, παρουσιάζοντας ένα ιδιαίτερο μουσικό πρόγραμμα αφιερωμένο στους φιλοξενούμενους και στο προσωπικό του ιδρύματος.
